Jeffrey Wetsch

JEFFREY WETSCH is the Associate Artistic Director of Shakespeare Link Canada and is an Alberta native with an Associate of Arts Diploma from Medicine Hat College, a BFA with Honours from the University of Lethbridge, Professional Acting Training from the National Theatre School of Canada and the Birmingham Classical Conservatory at the Stratford Festival of Canada. Jeffrey was a member of the Acting Company at Stratford for seven seasons. Through his professional acting career he has also worked at New West Theatre, The Grand, two Mirvish productions including the Canadian premier of Dirty Dancing, the York Shakespeare Company, Drayton Festival and in film and television. His teaching path began in Lethbridge where he developed and headed an after school theatre program for kids at the U of L. For the Stratford Festival Education Department since 2002 he teaches Acting, Shakespeare and Combat to all levels of students. After receiving his certification from York University Jeffrey continues to teach workshops for elementary and secondary schools as well as numerous Universities in Canada and the U.S. He also coaches privately.
